Samantha works part time for us dealing with general office functions such as the binding of Financial Plans and Reports, document printing and photocopying, Client liaison, database entry and generally keeping the office running in an efficient manner. Sam is also a fully qualified Holistic Therapist (Reflexologoist and Aromatherapy) which comes in handy sometimes when we are exceptionally busy!

Georgia White

Georgia joined Buryfield Grange when we took over the financial services operations of Alchemy Financial Management in early 2010. Georgia was practice manager at Alchemy and has several years’ direct experience of dealing with all aspects of mortgages, as well as day to day Financial Planning administration.

Georgia is responsible for general Client liaison, mortgage administration, database management, and integrating Alchemy’s business with ours.

Tracey Westley

Tracey has worked in Financial Planning, Pension and Investment for over 13 years with experience working for two large UK insurance/pension companies.   Her roles have covered general day to day administration and more recently managing a team, deputy office manager and personal assistant to two specialist pension consultants.  Tracey joined Buryfield Grange in October 2008, is a pension specialist and is responsible for general administration plus Client and Independent Financial Adviser “IFA” liaison.  

Tracey holds the full Financial Planning Certificate “FPC”. Her interests include walking, gardening and cooking. In 2009 Tracey gained the European Computer Driving Licence “ECDL” which is a Europe wide qualification demonstrating competence in computer skills.

 

Christopher Moore

Chris, also know as The IT Director, is responsible for the smooth running of all our technology (with the exception of telephones!). He has worked in IT all of his working life (nearly 30 years) and amongst other things is a member of the Association of Independent Computer Specialists.

Chris regularly works with our other specialist IT and software providers such as 1st Software Adviser Office, Truth,   O & M Systems, Selectapension, Linden House (Invu),  Aequos Engage, and Exweb. Chris works with a number of Independent Financial Advisers throughout Kent.

As a company Buryfield Grange is committed to making maximum use of the latest technology in order that we can provide our Client’s with the most effective and value for money solutions.

Sarah Salisbury

Sarah has worked in Financial Planning, pension and investment for over 10 years. Previous roles have included managing a team of pension specialist for a large UK based insurance company and as administration support for a specialist pension provider. She holds the Financial Planning Certificate papers 1 and 2 and is working toward the full Certificate in Financial Planning. In 2009 Sarah gained the European Computer Driving Licence “ECDL” which is a Europe wide qualification demonstrating competence in computer skills.

Sarah’s responsibilities include Client and provider liaison, general administration,  database management and all Wills and Trusts administration.

Her outside interests include Psychology, keeping fit and Netball. Sarah is currently on maternity leave following the birth of her second child.

Anita Coomber CeRCC

Anita, our Practice Manager, has over 20 years experience in Financial Planning, Pensions, Investment  and Banking.

As well as being Ian’s personal assistant, Anita is responsible for the day to day running of all aspects of our practice including finance, data management, Client liaison, and provider contact.

She is a member of the Personal Finance Society and holds the Certificate in Financial Administration (Pensions) and the Certificate in Regulated Customer Care. She is currently working toward the full Certificate in Financial Planning. In 2009 Anita gained the European Computer Driving Licence “ECDL” which is a Europe wide qualification demonstrating competence in computer skills.

Her outside interests include Football (a Chelsea supporter), Walking, Holidays  and Chocolate!

Ian Painter Dip PFS, CeMap, CeLTM, AIFP, CFP

Ian was born in London in 1965 and is Managing Director and Chairman of Buryfield Grange Limited “BGL”.

He began his working career in the City of London and after several years of commuting decided to take up his first advisory role in Maidstone, Kent in 1987. He has been advising both individual and corporate Clients ever since. Positions have included Senior Financial Consultant, then Senior Corporate Consultant with the Independent Financial Advisers “IFA” arm of Nationwide Building Society and then Regional Director with IFS Group (a national IFA). He launched his own practice in 1996 and subsequently formed Buryfield Grange Limited.

Ian believes in comprehensive, values based financial planning, whilst at the same time bringing specialist pension and investment knowledge to BGL. He is a qualified Certified Financial Planner (CFP), holds the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate (AFPC), the Financial Planning Certificate (FPC), both the Pension and Investment papers for the Institute of Financial Services (IFS) Professional Investment Certificate (PIC), and the Certificate in Lifetime Mortgages. He is a member of both the Personal Finance Society and The Institute of Financial Planning, he holds K10 (Retirement Options), CF1 (UK Financial Services Regulation and Ethics,  CF2 (Investment and Risk) , CF3 (Financial Protection), CF4 (Retirement Planning), CF6 (Mortgage Advice) CF9 (Pensions Simplification), CF8 (Long Term Care), G10 (Taxation and Trusts), AF5 (Financial Planning Process), G20 (Personal Investment Planning), G60 (Pension Transfers), HR1 (Home Reversion Plans)  and G20 (Personal Investment Planning) along with an HNC in Business and Finance. Ian is authorised and regulated by the FSA, and has the special qualifications required to provide advice on occupational pension transfers and is a “suitably qualified” investment adviser under the terms of The Trustee Act 2000  . He is associate member of Resolution the organisation for family lawyers committed to the constructive resolution of family disputes as well as being an associate member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners “STEP” having passed the STEP Certificate for Financial Services.  He is also a member of the Institute of Directors (IOD). His interests include Judo, Golf, Round Table (he is a former Chairman of City of Rochester No.56), Travel, Angling, Personal Development and keeping fit.

Ian is also a qualified Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), is certified in Ericksonian Hypnosis and a certified Performance Consultant and Results Coach. He is currently undertaking the necessary training to qualify as a Judo Coach.
